How we vet.
No pay-to-play rankings. Every listing meets The Vetted Standard before publishing, and featured placement is always labelled.
Most directories list anyone who pays. We don't. Before a venue or vendor appears here it has to pass The Vetted Standard, and it keeps meeting it to stay. That is the whole product: the list is worth something because getting on it is not automatic.
The Vetted Standard
- It genuinely operates. A live website, working contact details, and a real venue or service we can confirm exists, not a lead-broker front or a dormant page.
- The details are current. Location, capacity, style and pricing signals are checked against the operator's own public information at review, and dated on the page.
- It fits the brief. This is a luxury Sydney weddings and events list. A business has to actually serve that market to belong here.
- Claims are defensible. Every capacity and price figure traces to a public source. Where a number isn't published, we leave it blank rather than guess.
- It stays honest. Featured placement is labelled as featured, everywhere. It never changes the facts on a listing, and it never buys entry to the list.
Listings that go stale, close, or stop meeting the standard are removed. When a business passes, it earns the Vetted 2026 mark you'll see on its page.
How we make money, plainly
Couples never pay, for anything. Businesses can pay for a featured position and for qualified enquiries. That is the entire model, and none of it buys a place in the directory or edits a listing's facts. Vetting decides who is listed; money only decides who is promoted, and promotion is always marked as such.

We cover Greater Sydney and its wedding belt: the Harbour, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Inner West, Northern Beaches, Sutherland Shire, the Southern Highlands and the Hunter Valley. New categories and regions are added only once we can vet them properly.
